If anyone was wondering why we have a "Lions Gate" Bridge and why the "BC Lions" is our football team, these two peaks are the reason why. They are "The Lions".
It's a bit of a stretch I know, but from certain angles (not this one) it's more obvious where they got their name. Regardless, they are impressive. Yet another reason to not take this place for granted.
