This is a printed stack of promotional postcards that I designed and printed for Helly Hansen Canada.
Colour-corrected, sharpened and resized in photoshop.
This is the first of what I hope will be many photos uploaded to this site. I'm going to try to upload at least one photo a day and, in the beginning, I'll probably be uploading many more than one a day as I've got about five years worth of digital shots that are backlogged. Of coarse, I'm not uploading all of them - only the ones that I think are good. Feel free to agree or tell me otherwise.
About my photography, I've been taking photos for roughly twenty years now; digitally for about five. Semi-professionally at times but mostly just because I find it interesting. I do use photoshop for cropping, resizing, colour-correction and image-correction and I have no qualms about it. Occasionally I will manipulate a photo to achieve effects not possible in-camera. Either way I will let you know.
2/2/08 EDIT: Somewhere along the line I decided to mix things up a bit and start adding more processing to the posted images. There will be no unnecessary use of filters (actually, I'm going to incorporate lens flare and a radial blur TO EVERY PHOTO!), just some tweaking to get different looks.
